However, growing environmental awareness, especially about the chemicals found in many everyday items, means that fabrics increasingly need to perform on a health and environmental level, too.  

With demand for fluorine-free, water-repellent technical textiles projected to almost double between 2022 and 2029, there is a clear need for protective coatings that strike a balance between performance and sustainability. 

Stahl’s introduces high-performing, low-impact speciality coatings designed to meet the changing needs of today’s market. Stahl Integra^® Dry 725 is a water-repellent solution for technical fabrics. It delivers a balanced performance between water repellency, durability and adhesion. When a fabric is pretreated with a DWR application it is almost impossible to coat with waterbased coatings. The fabric repels too much and adhesion is an issue. This is not the case with Stahl Integra^® Dry 725.  It also prevents the penetration of the coating into the fabric and thus a very stiff handle.
